Jessica Alba, Cash Warren Split After 16 Years of Marriage
Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have separated after 16 years of marriage.
Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have faced breakup rumors for the last few weeks, and the actress and entrepreneur is finally setting the record straight.
On Instagram, Alba, 43, confirmed that she and Warren have split after 16 years of marriage and asked for privacy as they navigate this new chapter in their lives.
“I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” Alba wrote.
“I’m proud of how we’ve grown in our marriage over the last 20 years, and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
She added that while their marriage has ended, their respect and love for each other remain. “We are moving forward with love, kindness, and respect for each other and will forever be family. Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time,” she wrote.
The couple, who share three kids—16-year-old Honor, 13-year-old Haven, and 7-year-old Hayes—have often shared the ups and downs of raising a family in the public eye.

Cash Warren, 46, spoke with HELLO! magazine not long ago about the importance of communication in their family. For him and Jessica, that means balancing work and parenthood while making sure their kids feel supported.
“Family dinner is extremely important for us,” he said. “It’s also about giving them the freedom to make mistakes, and the confidence to learn from those mistakes.”
He pointed out that with their oldest daughter, Honor, this approach has been helpful: “Learning how to communicate and allowing for mistake-making has been super valuable.”
But parenting isn’t one-size-fits-all.
“Each kid is different,” he said. “There’s no manual, no playbook. What works for one might not work for another.”

Before confirming the split, a 2024 interview resurfaced where Jessica admitted on the BDA Baby podcast that, after the initial excitement, her relationship with Cash became more routine.
“I would say it’s all rosy for two-and-a-half years. But then after that, you become roommates. You’re just going through the motions, the responsibilities. It’s a lot of like checking the boxes.”
She also reflected on how having children impacted their marriage. “I think that he probably gets the short end of the stick,” she said, later clarifying, “It’s not even him, it’s us. When we’re enjoying each other, it’s an ‘us’ thing. And that feeds me as well.”
Jessica also opened up about how they once made a point to have regular date nights, but as life got busier, that tradition fell away.
“We used to do every Wednesday, we’re going to do date night or every week we’re gonna set aside a time. We’d put away our phones and just talk. But then that stopped because, well, life,” she said with a hint of frustration.
Jessica and Cash are focused on co-parenting and maintaining a respectful relationship.
